I currently tow my spree escape e196. With a 2004 grand cherokee. 4.7 v8. It does good , however thinkong about putting on a WDH. Looking into s fastway e2 system. With built in sway control. Just wondering if anyone else uses this same hitch. Or similair ?

The fastway e2 is a good setup. For your trailer (same as mine) I would recommend the round bar 8000/800.

Ok went to install a new 2 in ball from equiler. Recommended for the e2 wdh. The directions said to torque to 430 ft/pds. Problem is the nut on tbe ball shank is huge. Tried putting on a 1 1/2 inch impact socket on it but still too small. And dont have anything bigger, neither did my local garage. Doen the street. Plus no room to turn with open end wrench even if i find the right siZe. Looking for suggestions

Looking for suggestions Vagov: When I bought a used equalizer hitch that had to be changed from a 2" 5/16 to a 2" ball there was no way me or my brute of a son-in-law could break it loose with a wrench because of the torque put on it. Ended up taking it to a place that sold utility trailers as their main line of business and for a few bucks they changed it out for me. You might have to end up doing something like that. Bob
