Hey all, I am thinking about purchasing a 2014 KZ Inferno 3712 and would greatly appreciate some info to help me make that decision.
I have spent a lot of time trying to find info on construction methods and details with no success.....like how thick is the plywood on the floor and the roof....is it plywood or OSB, are the floor joists wood or aluminum.....same with the walls studs. What kind of trusses are used in the roof. Who makes the main frame and undercarriage and have there been problems.....etc. etc. Any info on construction of the Inferno would be greatly appreciated.
Next, I have a 2013 GMC 1 ton dually diesel crew cab long bed and was hoping someone with the same setup could give me feedback on mileage (I usually tow about 60 mph in 5th gear) and towing characteristics like stability and wind effects etc.
Lastly, I have read here and there about various RV owners being caught in disagreements about who is responsible for fixing warranty problems......like is KZ or Norcold responsible for the refrigerator or who is responsible for frame issues, etc. I ask because I recently owned a Jayco and NEVER had a question about any repair. I had numerous problems over the 2 year warranty period and Jayco ALWAYS fixed it, no questions asked, NEVER referring me to a component manufacturer. And I travel a lot....and EVERY Jayco dealer I went to from Texas to Alaska seemed equally interested in fixing any problem. Jayco even once authorized a non-Jayco mobile repair service to come to my location and fix the furnace and it didn't cost me a dime. I was hoping that would also be the case with KZ.
Any other feedback would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
