We have a 22 foot Sportsman Classic with a door below the wardrobe in the bathroom. We want to install a hatch on the outside of the trailer so we can have easier access - I'm tired of lying on the bathroom floor to get to the stuff in the back of the cabinet!
Anyone done this? Anyone know where we can buy a pre-made hatch? It would be the same size as the hatch on the pass-through in the front on the driver's side. Thanks!

Welcome cantie!
Contact the KZ factory. I did a few years ago for piece of countertop that matched ours in our 2010 CL180 Coyote. Told them the color and size I wanted. Best to call customer service. That was before they were bought out by Thor. Good luck.

I have a 14RB and added a small hatch in the front to have access to the fresh water drain valve as well as to see the fresh water tank. Although there wasn't any way to know for sure, I was very careful not to cut into any pipes or wiring. I was fairly sure I was safe since all of the wiring / pipes were exterior of the wall. I then used a hole saw to make a fairly large hole to see what I was dealing with. No real surprises, I continued with the project taking my time to measure everything.
If your good with tools, AND your confident about the location, it is a straightforward job. There is a bit of pucker factor at first, but went smoothly after that
