I have had my 38FL for two years now and have never used the cable TV connection . On my recent trip to Colorado I stayed at a park with great Cable TV and decided to give it a try . However, dispite hooking up the cable to the cable TV connection in the left front storage compartment where the water connections are and running the setup channel find on the TV with signel set to Cable I dont pick up any channels. Is there a switch or something that needs to be activated somehwere to switch from Air signels to cable or satilite?

Which input did you use when you hooked up the cable? I use the terminal marked "main". Then go into menu on the tv and go to set up using "cable" setting. Works beautifully. Make sure the amplifier in the top left hand cabinet next to the tv is turned off. You only use it with the rooftop antenna.

Actually my inputs are marked Satelite (Top) and Cable ( Bottom) . I didnt turn off the applifier in the left cabinet. I will try that and thanks for the information.

Yes, the amplifier being turned on will cause cable not to work properly.
