hi I live in Canada and just bought a 2008 Sportsman rv .I would like to know where to get owners manual

Suggest you go to their website and check for the dealer locator and see where the nearest dealer is to you. There is an Owner's manual and a separate Maintenance manual for the trailer. Also there should be one for the Fridge, another for the stove, for the furnace, for the hot water heater, for the Jensen radio/DV player, Wineggard antennas, Microwave oven, Along with info on the axles, smoke alarm, roofing and anything that is special to your unit .
Reading your post, can I assume that you may have purchased this in a private sale? If so I would gently ask the former owner if they have these books. Being a former Tractor and Implement salesman, I learned that I had to ask if the customer had the manuals for his trade-in. In a lot of cases they would go to a drawer where they kept all of their owners manuals and pull them out.
You can also, e-mail KZ and ask them for the manuals, but my experience has been that they will refer you to a dealer.

Last winter I went to KZ and they sent the manuals via email in 24 hours. Very prompt and courteous.
