Hi All! We just bought a1500 Durango 275RE, absolutely love it, so much "wow" factor, so many people walk into it and are just blown away. The fit and finish, construction, and sheer floor space is something that other fifth wheels in this class just don't have KZ is to be commended . My question revolves around the command center. Main vs. Aux tank. We're going on our "maiden voyage" this weekend and right now on the panel it shows main tank as empty and then when I switch to Aux it shows full and there is an intermittent beep once in a while. Since the park has full hookups and I should be able to connect up do I have to manually activate the switch to dump the Aux tank? Will it happen automatically? And the final question, how do I know which dump valve is grey and which valve is black? Oh, one more question, what is the capacity of this Aux. tank? Could Aux tank be referring to grey water? Thanks for your help, Sid & Renee

Sid & Renee,
I can give you some information. I have a 2013 1500 Durango 245. It has a switch for an aux. tank but there is no tank. The aux. tank may be for water. Mine has a light for water, battery, gray water, black water. The beep and flashing light means either your tanks are full or your fresh water tank is empty (which is probably the case unless you filled it up). I had to call the dealer when I bought mine to find that out. If you push the button the beep should stop and only the light will flash. Which it will do all the time if the water tank is empty.
The dump valve outside should say sewer on the black tank. On mine if your facing it the valve black is on the left and the grey is on the right. Also I suggest even if your hoookep up to sewer at the camp site leave the tanks closed and let them fill up. Just check the lights once in a while and see if they are full. Then just dump them and close it again. Also put a treatment tab in the tank each time. Letting it fill up will ensure you get the tanks empty when you are ready to do a final dump. Also just as an FYI when I go camping (just me and my wife) we can go three days using shower, water, toilet without worrying about emptying the tanks. Hope this info. helps

Wow Thanks for the info! Coming from a Northern lite truck camper to this one can be a little intimidating at times, so thank you for the help!!
