On the spur of the moment I decided I would like to tour the factory so I called. Yes they have tours every Tuesday at 2 PM, after the construction folks are done for the day. Yes I certainly was welcome to come over. WOW! What a pleasant experience! I expected some old warehouse, maybe an office building or some offices in the corner. Not so. The office building is a 2 story complex very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. There are several buildings, I think one for each line of campers. My tour guide was a 10 year veteran of the company and she was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Answered every question in detail as well. I saw my line (Spree Escape camper) from just the frame all the way to final inspection, must have been more than a dozen on the line. No restrictions, look at what interests you and ask the questions and get straight answers. Almost everything I wondered about was right there for me to look at. I saw the wood frames, the insulation, the wiring etc. I was impressed with the quality of the framing and materials used. I may have an entry level unit, but it is made well. Entry level means fewer gadgets to confuse the new user, not cheap junk to get people into the game. Glad I got to see it all and suggest to everyone to make it on over if you can, a trip well worth it, especially if you add a good Amish dinner at the end of the day!
