We ordered our toyhauler and had the factory install tv's and mounts in the bedroom and garage area of our MXT. The mounts they used were a scissor mount that locks in place for travel. They are nice scissor mounts, but they don't have any kind of tilt on it. Everyone knows you cant see an led tv if its mounted really with no tilt. I got a mount and did some retrofitting to make the tv in the bedroom acceptable. However, i was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if anyone knows of a mount that i can mount to the existing arm. I hate to keep buying things blindly. When i contacted kz her response was yeah we are aware of that issue, lol. I guess that means tough ****! lol anyway If anyone has an idea i would love to read it!!!
Thanks

I bought mine at Best Buy, it was pricey but it tilts in every direction. It was around $60, but we all know we get what we pay for.

Same issue with our 2014 261RKS and TV over the dinette. I also added a tilt mount to the factory mount and now it's fine. Absolutely no way you could see the screen when sitting in the dinette. Why do they do this?? Why don't they resolve it if it's been going on for years and they know about it? When anyone looks at a unit at the dealer's lot or at a show, who actually turns on a TV to see how it looks?
And why do the put the co-ax outlet on the ceiling behind the TV adjacent to the exterior wall so that you have to kneel on the dinette seat and strain to reach the amplifier button? Pffft. I fixed that one too by installing a wall-mounted Sensarpro signal finder.

I could never get a TV mount to actually stay on the wall when supporting a 26" LCD TV.

Hello, I am new to Campers. Bought a small spree escape 17Toy hauler. In the brochure it says it has a tv mounting spot but I want to know if anyone has installed one and since the manual does not specify if it's ok to drill into the inside . The spot should be above the fridge it seems. Thoughts comments ? Thanks
