Hello, we just bought a 2008 Coyote and love it. It came with a soap dish and toothbrush holder in a bag so before I start making holes in the bathroom walls I thought I'd check with this forum to see if there's backing in the walls or should I just use plastic screw inserts. Thanks Gary

I always start with a small bit and drill a hole and see if you get a stud if you do that's good if you don't use plastic anchors more than likely you'll have to use the plastic anchors

No studs in the wall on KZ,s except for where the cabinets are hung. Check it out when there a cold night and you have the heat on Check the walls in the morning, if there are studs you will be able to see. I used plastic inserts. Just saw on You tube where a guy used pop rivets Titled HOW TO: hang Things on RV walls using pop rivets Hope this link works www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3dym_w27W8&index=15&list=PL065CE0C3BFF0EE02WildBill

If you can find "Blind Rivets" they are a better choice as they spread out more behind the wall material.

If on interior walls, it will be 1/8" thick luan plywood only with a hollow cavity. Be very careful that you do not drill into a vent pipe or something else. I would put a piece of tape on a drill bit as a depth gauge and drill through just enough to be able to push something through to verify it is clear.
Those plastic inserts won't work that well in 1/8" ply. Oscar rivets which are made for RVs work well and are a type of blind rivet. For something that won't get much force exerted on it, screws should be okay. I like the rivets because they're really solid.
