Hi all, We have 2014 Spree Escape 170 and I notice that the battery is totally dead after 2 weeks of sitting. This has happened a few times now. Is this normal? I've owned many RVs in the past, but never had this problem. I notice that the radio is always lit up even when not turned on. Do you think that would be enough to drain the battery down that quickly?
Thanks for any input
Vic

You need to remove a battery cable or install a switch so that the battery is disconnected whenever the trailer is not being used.

Thanks lynnmor, That's what I'll do. I was just plugging it in once a month or so for a couple days, but it's not a big deal to just charge it up and disconnect it every now and then. I just don't want to ruin the battery, as deep cycle batteries are not cheep. Maybe I'll just pick up a battery disconnect for it.
Thanks again Vic

Good. Now don't buy one of those that have a large red key, they corrode inside and won't last a year. I use a Blue Sea switch, expensive though.
