Does anyone know the maximum PSI for this tire? The tire sidewall states a maximum load at 50PSI, so does that mean the tire max PSI is 50?
These are the tires that came with our 2014 Spree 196.
Thanks, Nick

I believe the tire PSI ratings for trailers are also for a max speed of 65mph. Any faster than that and they heat up, heat equals tire failure.

ST tires are maximum speed rated at 65 MPH ... running at 65 is like running you engine at redline all the time. With ST tires, it's best to run 55-60 MPH from a safety stand point. If you want to go faster there are several LT tires that are speed rated at 75 MPH (Goodyear G614 is an example).

These are the same tires that came with my spree escape 196. Max psi is 50. Quite frankly these are pretty cheap tires.

KZ (like many others), uses cost cutting as a way the keep competitive prices and maintain acceptable profit margins. I just wish they would quit skimping on tires .... Chinese tires are dangerous and until they can improve ... KZ should quit using them.

Chinese tires are dangerous and until they can improve ... KZ should quit using them. Nearly all ST (trailer) tires are made in China. Of the remaining, none are made in the USA. My problem with KZ is the fact that they use the absolute minimum size of tires, axles and brakes on their trailers. I have replaced everything below the frame on my KZ.

I just bought another set of freestars for my spree 305bhs. I got 6 years and 11,500 miles out of the factory set with zero issues. Tires still looked to have a ton of life in them but didn't want to push my luck any further. If I can get 6 years and 11k+ out of every set of tires with no issues I'll be pretty happy with that.
