Hi KZ family. My name is Dave, soon to be 70 widower, and I will be picking up my New to Me Spree 196S Monday. I am NOT new to the excitement of camping by any means, this will be my 5th, and last camper. I have gone full cycle in that I started with a pop-up, traded for a Classic Cruiser similar to the 196, then thought I was going to spend 6 months in a camper as a Florida snowbird so bought a Trailmanor 3023, sold it and bought another Pop up and then heard the 196 calling my name, so traded to it.
I use my campers mostly for going to car races but do use them for vacations and excursions. I lost my wife a few years ago but have a traveling companion who loves camping. His name is Bear, and is my "chick magnet" (if I could only remember why that would be important) as he has a 2000 pound personality and is only a 15 pound Miniature Schnauzer. I look forward to meeting a lot of you at gatherings and will tell the story on how a little dog got the name Bear.
I hope to visit with a lot of you in the years to come!
