Hello, hope I am posting correctly on here. Just bought a KZ Sportsmen Classic 16RBT. We are weekend campers in Manitoba, Canada, and try to get out 5-6 wknds over the summer. What do I do with my black water holding tank? I just read online that you should wait until it is 2/3 or 3/4 full, but I don't think I will reach this level in one wknd. Looking for any tips would be greatly appreciated. I am wondering with what I have read, should I just dump the grey water every wknd and the black water maybe every second or third wknd? Thank you in advance to my new KZ friends - look forward to hearing/getting lots of advice from all of you for tips on campers/camping.

At the end of your trip just add water to the black tank to get it up to 3/4 full then dump. If you have a sprayer use it and rinse the tank after dumping. This will help avoid a buildup in the tank. I found that it really helps if you put about 1/4 tank of water in the tank for the trip home. The slushing around of the water really helps clean the tank. I have a hook up for our 5er at home so I can dump the tank when I get home. After dumping at home I'll put a few gallons of water in the black tank so anything left in there does not dry fast to the tank.
