Finally! I'm done with the 50-60 hours work weeks and heading out on my first Workamper assignment next month to the beautiful Hudson Valley area of NY. Bought new a 2013 Sportsmen Classic 17' w slide & in the process of checking everything out and trying to decide where in heck I'm gonna put everything I'll need until the end of October!
I have a 1987 Saturn Sunline in the yard that's about 90% remodeled & was planning on using it for my Workamping trips, but got a good deal on the new one so will finish the old one this winter & put it on the market. That will be the 2nd travel trailer I've flipped.

I'm right on your tail--I will be retiring on December 9th. Only 12 more pay checks for the rest of my life and I'll only have one person to answer to. Can hardly wait!! Thought about work camp but I want a year or two to myself first.

My only advice would be to stay on very good terms with that one person or you might regret even retiring. 40 and counting here and that's not camping seasons. Couldn't be happier!
