We bought a 2005 New Vision 37RL that looks like new inside and out and we love it; however, we did not get any kind of manual with it and have some questions regarding the tv situation. Our unit has a satellite mounted on the roof. We don't want to use that but instead want to use a dish on the ground. The only way we get tv now is to run the cable directly from the dish to the receiver, through the window. When the dish cable is connected to the outside of the camper we get nothing. Does this mean the system is still getting its feed from the roof mounted satellite? How do I disconnect the system from it? Thanks for any help

Not knowing anything about your camper, I'll bet that the dish on the roof has the connections you need. You will probably have to figure out how to access the connections on the roof.

We were having an issue with the cable not working. Someone at a park told us about a button inside the unit that you have to push to change from air to cable/satellite. This is separate from the change you make on tv control. Nothing in manual and no explanation at dealer but we did find it above the bedroom tv. On our 2013, when it is on air it is green on cable no light. Good luck.
