Agree with you about screwing KZ up. The camper we had before we purchased our KZ was a Cub built by Dutchmen which is owned by Thor. It was a piece of junk, the craftsmanship stunk. The tub/shower cracked because of no support underneath. We had a leak come down where the tv antenna wire came through the roof and a leak we never found that caused the floor near the door to rot. Wife came out the door one day and the step nearly broke off because of the floor. This all within the first year. Took it back to the dealer and they haggled with Dutchmen and they finally agreed to fix it. Problem was I had to take it to their repair facilities in the fall and didn't get it back till late spring. They lifted the walls and pulled the old floor out and put a new one back underneath. In the meantime we heard of the quality of the KZ and took a trip to their plant in the early spring. We were impressed with their facilities and workmanship and decided to trade the Cub in for a Coyote. Have been REAL HAPPY ever since. This was back in 2009-2010. We have not had any major problems, just little minor thing go wrong. And KZ fixed those last fall at the rally. No questions asked and no charge!

This does not make me happy...sure hope they keep the same great products and service. Our 2-year just ran out this month...they have been great making the few adjustments necessary. We love our KZ 2014 261RKS Spree. We looked a long time to find the floorplan and quality in a moderately priced TT.

We are on our second KZ and never had any problems that KZ did not take care of. Our warranty runs out in Oct. and we have a very good dealer so at this point the change doesn't mean that much to me but I always wanted a motor coach and this could have a big part in my future decision on my next RV. After my first expearance with KZ and our first 5er--I didn't even consider anyone else when we decided to upgrade.

In my opinion, (been camping since 1977) ,Thor makes the cheapest campers out there as far as quality and craftmanship. We have owned many brands and I have finally bought a little 14' that I can pull with my new van and have no problems! We have a permanent summer home and I like to go for short jaunts with my dogs, so the KZ 14' comes into the picture and we are good to go!!! I also hope that Thor does not bring the quality of their products down to the KZ's. Such sad news :-(

Wow this is not good news as far as I'm concerned. I pulled the trigger on a KZ because after owning many different RVs throughout the years, we decided to downsize back to a small TT. I did alot of research on the KZ line, and talked with many owners as well. Nearly everyone said that the quality was very good for money spent, and that they were very pleased with their KZ. So I bought a 2014 Spree Escape only to find out now that they were bought out by Thor Industries? This sucks !!
We owned 2 different Thor's over the years, and both were a piece of crap !! All I can say is that for future KZ owners, I hope they have stepped up the quality since we owned ours. Also it remains to be seen what the customer service will be like, if any.
Not so happy camper today!
