Hoping to hear from some StoneRidge owners about your experiences. My wife and I are interested in a 36UL. I like the things I've heard and read about KZ.

I would also be interested in hearing from 36RK owners.

Before we purchased our 38fl we looked at both the 36 rk and 36ul. If a huge kitchen and amazing cabinets is your thing, the rk is unmatched. not to mention the outdoor kitchen option. If you like the feel on a cozy living room, the ul is the model for you. Both are impressive. However, when we saw the 38fl, that ended the discussion for us. The Stone Ridge lineup should be able to satisfy most consumers.

My wife is looking for all the kitchen counter space and cabinets she can get. The other plus sides of the RK is standard 7k axles and larger tanks.

you can't beat the kitchen in the rk. The only real problem I see with the unit is the relatively small carrying capacity. But if it has 7000# axles and tires you may be able to fudge a little.

you are a stronger man than me. I don't think i could wait that long. On the rv port , try to get it a little longer than the unit. They usually price them in 5 foot increments. I'd go at least 45 feet long, 18 feet wide and 12 foot sides, which will make it over 14 feet tall in the center. Also, it makes it nice if you bring at least 2 sheets of metal down the sides. It protects the trailer pretty well and you can walk under it from the sides. I went too small at first and wound up adding to it later on. mine is now 57 feet long. I've never known a man who says that he built his shed too big!

Our 2012 36UL is sitting in our driveway waiting for her maiden voyage to Myrtle Beach this Friday. We are really exited. I am overwhelmed the amount of outside storage in this unit. I emptied our old 5th wheel and put it back in this one and I have empty storage areas.. Amazing!

The rk and ul models have an amazing amount of storage. Does your unit have the 7000# axles? If not, you may want to watch your loaded weight. With all that capacity, it would be real easy to overload it. We looked at that unit hard before buying of 38fl. In the end, the huge living room won us over, but we did give up some storage area to get it. We've camped in it for 12 nights now and truthfully say it is ideal for the was we use a camper. I know you will be thrilled with your unit too.

just purchased a 2012 36rk with bistol package, was built in dec.2011 I think it had a lot of left over 2011 parts in it. to many small problems for me, some very poor workmanship. if you buy one go over it with a fine tooth comb before you leave the dealer

Just took delivery on 9/13/12. New KZ Stone Ridge Sportster 41 CKS. Previous toy hauler was a Glendale Titanium (40') (now out of business). Last weekend was our first outing, everything works, nothing leaks, nothing broke. This trailer is HUGE compared to the old one, with a lot of storage and lots of wide open spaces. the garage now holds a washer/dryer, bicycles, BBQ grill, propane tank, Harley Heritage softail, and other miscellaneous stuff. We're very happy with this purchase, and will be snowbirds for the first time this winter in Ft. Myers, FL. A few things could be improved: the ramp door is VERY heavy and could use another assist spring. The main slide topper sags and bottoms out with the slightest rain. I wish they would offer automatic leveling jacks on the toy haulers like they do on the regular Stone Ridge, but the factory refused. They never could give me a good technical reason.
