So. Interesting issue I’m just figuring out (probably because SoCal is the perfect temperature 90% of the time so haven’t had to use it that much). Bought our 2021 382MBQ in Arizona and it came with the 3rd A/c. Turns out (and from what I’ve read this was as designed) the three thermostats for the 3 units are only in two places. One in the bedroom forward, and the other two in the hallway just below the LCI control unit. These three (in two places) thermostats control three AC zones, the main (living room/kitchen area), Zone 3 (the added middle area that is above the mid bunk room, loft, and bathroom, basically middle of the trailer) and the bedroom forward. Well in my unit, they apparently wired the three wrong. The main and bedroom thermostats are in the hallway, and the zone 3 is in the bedroom. I can tell this pretty definitively cause I take the little LCI cover off the hall thermostats and there are two. I put them in my hand and watch main and bedroom temps heat up while zone 3 stays the same. So how do I find the crossed wires and fix it? Units out of warranty so asking KZ is pretty much out of the question. Kippert is my next call, hopefully they can help, but I feel like they provide a lot of parts. They don’t wire these things. It’s going to be a matter of swapping wires I’m sure.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks!
Jason
