Boy what a difference!!!! That was a nice upgrade that looks like you it did before. Did you have to cut the panels to fit or did you get lucky and find some that were the right size?

Had to make two cuts, on the pieces at both ends, but the cut edge went in behind the corner pieces. All straight edges to apply caulk. The measurement to the roof was perfect.

Did you get the materials at Lowes/Home Depot? What was the cost?

Nice work. I can't believe they would build a tub without the surround.

That looks outstanding!! I just picked up a brand new 2014 16RBT and I think I may have to do what you did. If I can ask what did you use to secure the surround to the walls? Thank you for your time this is also my first post as I just got accepted to the forum today!!

I did the same to our 14RB. Siding was purchased @ Lowes for $60. Has shelving on both ends, but only used one end since rear wall curves toward tub. Took about a day.
Used adhesive made by "Loctite" specifically for shower walls. Took 2 tubes (for me). Also dont forget to caulk all seams
One more thing I added to make it perfect, Extend-A-Shower Expanding Shower Rod which articulates out for shower, in for travel / toilet. That & a crystal clear shower curtain really opens up the head & gives more room & light!

I was thinking of doing this to my Spree Escape walk in shower. Just curious as to how you prepared the walls?
