Hi there - new to the forum. I see a number of threads related to installing a slide topper on a slide that also has an awning. It seems it is impossible as there is not enough room. My dealership said they could lower the Awning to make room but wouldn’t be cheap. Has anyone actually had this done? I have had back luck with water getting it to coach without slide toppers so I am considering despite the cost. Anyone found a way to solve this issue or have experience lowering their awning so topper can be installed? Thanks!

We have a 358 Rpq with four slides, no slide toppers. Durango service center did not recommend them. We have not had any problems at all. We did remove reading lights in bedroom bed slide and stuffed Owens Corning pink fiberglass into the top portion. Really quiet now when it rains.
