Hi guys, I’m having an issue finding the LED awning light fuse. I have under cabinet toggles for awning, slide out, interior, dining, living room, light, exterior amber light, and a mystery red toggle.
I am not sure why my LED awning light, which is attached to the awning tube Has no power to that light. I have checked Continuity from switch to light and all seems to be fine. There is also power at the switch, but I do not know if there is a fuse up in the cabinet wire group that may be blown.
I have read that there is a two amp fuse in-line up there, but I cannot locate it
Please help

I found a fuse holder, behind the panel when I pulled it, with a 3-amp fuse in it. Of course, the picture did not load. Thanks, KZ.

I refuse to use any type of Chinese fuse. The quality is subpar. I did use some in my older car and couldn't figure out why they kept blowing. Then bought a name brand fuse and all was well.

What name brand? Aren't most of those made in China like most everything else these days? I'm talking about the no name fuses that only cost a few pennies. You don't see these in a good auto parts store. Bussman, Littlefuse and Blue Sea are the big names in fuses. These are from American manufacturers and made to a higher standard.
Most people will not spend the money for quality.

I'm not convinced that the 200 pack of no name fuse from China are any lower quality than the over priced 2 packs sold in auto stores.
Bussman has manufacturing sites in 23 countries, including China. Littlefuse is also all over the world and has 13 locations just in China. Both have their headquarters in the US making them "American" companies. Most large American companies are global and there is no telling where many of their items are made. With the cost of labor in the US, most of those companies manufacture everything overseas. Some assemble in the US and say the product is American made. Just because Bussman and Littlefuse are American companies doesn't mean their fuses are made in America.
Buying 200 fuses cheap in a single package directly from China at 6 cents a fuse is probably paying the same amount for name brand fuses, 2 at a time in an auto parts store for $5.12. The extra $5 is for shipping and handled through importers, packagers, distributors, and brick and mortar auto parts stores and name brand markup. All that packaging and handling costs drive the cost way up and is NO indication of higher quality, no matter what name you put on the package.
I will pay the lower cost and assume the same quality until proven otherwise. Hasn't happened so far.
