We have a Durango Gold fifth wheel. Other than having the refrigerator breaker on, what breakers need to be off/on for the refrigerator to work while we tow?

Are you trying to run on 12v, propane or 120v?

120v. I shut down most of the breakers and the refrigerator worked while we traveled. The key was shutting down the ACs. I appreciate your response.

I don’t shut off any breakers, make sure the acs are off and zantrex 2000 watt inverter is on. That powers the fridge. When I get home I pull out the trash can and reach way in the back to unplug fridge. I leave doors open when not using. Also dump ice. I have a 358RPQ with the residential Samsung fridge Update Well, I learned something. I plugged the fridge back into the outlet and I said to myself, it has to be easier. I went to breaker box flicked off fridge breaker, fridge stayed on. I turned off zantrex invertor and flicked fridge breaker off, fridge went off. So, in short, I don’t have to unplug fridge when I get done camping. Just turn off the zantrex and fridge breaker. Slow learner🤔

Is it a residential fridge or RV gas/electric? If it's RV it should auto switch to propane when the AC electric is disconnected. Not sure on the residential, cut power and turn off inverter?

From this, I am guessing that you are running on a generator. Absent special circumstances, the ACs would never be wired to the inverter so shutting off those breakers should not impact inverter capacity. Depending on the genset, you should be able to run AC while towing. When it is really hot, I stop an hour away from our destination and start the genset and ACs to help cool off the unit prior to stopping for the evening.

And our ‘24 358RPQ is so digital-everything, just to prove I could do it, I once used my phone app while driving to turn on the genset, let it warm, then turned on the AC’s. Full disclosure - DW did smack me in the back of the head telling me “ eyes on the road smartaxx”. 😎
