I've never been real happy with the ceiling fixtures in our unit; particularly in the kitchen. The unit has several 18 inch, double bulb florescent fixtures that to me are a little too dim. After several months of searching for an alternative fixture, I came across a solution. CABIN BRIGHT offers a LED replacement that installs in the existing fixture with very little trouble and anyone can do it in about 5 minutes. I purchased the 10 led system for the 2 fixtures in our kitchen and we are extremely pleased with the results. The lights are much brighter and will use less electricity! They are not cheap at $59 a unit for the 10 led 18 inch units. But that is considerably less expensive that installing new complete led fixtures. I now plan to order some for the ceiling fixtures in our bathroom. The fixtures we have in the living room and bedroom, I will leave as is. They really do not need to be any brighter.
