I have a 2012 Spree 323css. It's a great trailer no issues after staying in it for 4.5 months this winter EXCEPT the couch. The drawer comes open driving down the road and is hard to get back in as the rails are bound up. Also the cushions aren't very good. After sitting on it for a while you feel like you've been sitting on a 2 x 4 plus they slope towards the middle. They are not removable so nothing can be put under them.
I've talked to the dealer and sent pictures but no response.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Does your problem sound similar to my description?

The couch in my 09 Spree is the weakest link in the trailer. It is the only complaint that I have. KZ would serve their customers well by spending a few extra bucks on the couch units.

We have a 2011 Spree 300RBS and have already had our couch replaced. We purchased the unit in Sept of 2010 by spring of 2011 we noticed a lot of sagging in the middle of the couch. With the help of our dealer we got the ok to get our couch replaced. Took a lot of time and many pictures.
Our dealer removed our couch because KZ sent the cushion base of the couch and the dealer had to get it reupholster as new cushions were needed as well they reused my existing fabric. The dealer was perplexed as well. We picked up our unit before our dealer was finished with the job so we could camp over the Labour Day long weekend and our dealer was awesome enough to deliver our redone couch to us onsite.
When the dealer was bringing our couch into the trailer the sun hit it enough for me see through the bottom and I was taken back as to what I saw. Basically the couch seat base is supported by webbing, 6 I believe off the top of my head. Not even attached straight but on an angle so that the webbing is actually on a bias. Bias means it stretches which actually causes the sag you are seeing.
Being dumb founded and seeing we had a newish base I wanted to reinforce the couch before we saw the same thing happening again. It's a design flaw! So we bought some extra webbing of excellent quality and thought we would just beef the webbing up properly.
Pulling back the covering on the bottom of the seat base we note that there is little to staple to, as well, due to the way the couch opens up into a bed you need to have a bit of play with the webbing or you pull everything apart. There is no way to add any wood to support the seat base due to the construction. Basically your stuck with some sag that makes the couch look far more worn then what it really is and is very unsightly if the rest of your unit is in still new condition.
We have noticed the exact same wear happening to our couch now even after being replaced. I am considering taking the thing out and just replace it with a real couch. I am very frustrated with the construction of the couch. I would rather loose the bed and storage at this point.
Our couch is still "apart" as we never did reattach the backing since we are still looking for a better option, I can take pictures of how it is made. Shocking is all I can say.
Love the unit hate the couch and quite frankly makes me wonder about some other things.

I got a call from the service manager at the dealer and he told me they were replacing the couch. It'll be a couple weeks before it gets here. GOOD NEWS

After 3 months the dealer let me know they had the couch. It turned out to be just the cushion assembly that folds out. They couldn't get it out of the trailer so it was replaced inside. They said they had no way to fix the drawer so I called KZ and they had me take it down to the factory service dept. I was not that far away. They started working on it as soon as I got there. After looking at the bottom I believe it was assembled just a bit crooked so the drawer would never work correctly, but I'm no expert BUT 2 guys gave up after about 2 hours. They tried pretty hard also. KZ doesn't make the couch. so they called around and told me I could get another couch like I had or they would refund me their cost for it. So I went to a La-Z-boy store and got 2 recliners for it. The La-Z-boy chairs have a removable back so the are very easy to get in the door. In all fairness KZ was very easy to work with and tried hard. Plus I've not had 1 problem with the trailer itself after staying in it 4.5 months last winter. The couch came from a company called Seat Tech. I also noticed a new one had a different type couch in it.
