After seven years of motorhomes, the last a 42' Winnebago Journey DP, we have decided to downsize a bit and simplify our RVing. We live in NE Texas and have been having some very cold (for us) weather and even some substantial ice storms. Just waiting for a break in the weather.
I am pretty close to the stated maximums for GVWR, GVCWR, tongue and trailer weight, so we're trying to keep it light. I suggested to DW that we go on Nutrisystems, but that did NOT go over in a big way. I think I'll be about 5% over the book values when heading out. This is my first experience with a trailer of this size and weight, but so far seems to tow very well. I'm sure I'll be back on this forum for advice down the road.
