Just purchased a used 261 rks 2012 excellent condition except the under belly is sagging between the axles in that area does anyone know exactly what’s under that section , I added water the the fresh tank and check the connections and sewer lines no leaks , pump shuts off when lines are pressurized I can see a little bit of insulation maybe a plastic tank and a metal strap it’s almost winter ( Colorado ) and I don’t have time to take the underbelly off so I strapped it up without overdoing it with a couple of straps any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I made a loose wooden lattice kind of thing that supports the 'flaccid belly' under mine.. nothing bad had happened but it seems happier with more support... your mileage may vary :-)

I add some spring steel maybe an 1/8 thick across the frame rails to hold it up after I pulled it down to replace a black valve. I had added some before when I put disc brakes on to support the hydraulic lines.

On our 2018 241RLK the sagging underbelly in that area was caused by the blackwater tank coming loose. KZ attached the tank to the wooden frame with 6 metal tabs fastened by a single 1/4inch screw in each. Over time the screws reamed out the holes in the wood and fell out. Of the 6 tabs only one was still attached loosely to the frame. The tabs had 2 holes each to attach but KZ chose to use only 1 fastener in each tab. I purchased 6 5/16 screws to place in the reamed-out holes and used the 1/4inch factory screws in the second hole of each tab. If I remember correctly the 6 5/16 screws cost me .69 cents each. Plus $10. for a roll of Gorilla Tape. KX saved less than $3.54 by using only one screw - probably less as they used 1/4 in screws and buy in bulk. I emptied the tanks and used ratchet straps to support the underbelly until I did the repair. I did not have a leaks in any of the plumbing or drains. Good luck.

If it doesn't leak and goes in and out fine, then it is what it is. Square and plumb is not in the RV dictionary.
