I have found the problem. KZ uses a cheap non-insulated foil heat duct. when the air in the space between the floor & the lower enclosure is in the 30s most of the heat in the line transfers through the thin wall of the duct to the "crawl space".The fix requires removing the lower enclosure & replacing the cheap foil duct with an Insulated 4" duct. I have found such ducts on Amazon in a 4"X25'section for as little as $25.00. It will require a substantial amount of work on My part to do the repairs (upgrades). It would have been NICE if KZ had spent an extra $20.00 or so during the original construction so that the furnace would at least be functional.
