Just purchased a 23 Sportsmen 231rk 5th wheel. It has an electronic touch screen to operate lights, awning and check tank levels. I suppose this is standard on all campers now. Can these be converted back to the old push button/toggle switches? Call me a pessimist, but if that one panel goes bad I will lose all operation of most of lights, awning and tank monitoring. I prefer the “old” set-up with separate switches for each thing. Thank you for your responses.

I'm with you on this. The problem is that manufacturers are looking for simple assembly and they use all this junk to bait unsuspecting customers into buying it. Useless awnings, stupid steps and wobbly jacks are some of my reasons for never wanting a newer piece of junk.

At least give us the =option=! Just like disk brakes or independent suspension or folding steps or... Lyle So true! Not a fan of that huge fold down set of stairs. Waiting for my hand to slip on that one. Miss the old pull out steps.
