I have a sportsman classic 200. I want to increase my ground clearance. Looking at the Dexter over under axle kit. Has anyone tried this? It looks pretty straight forward. Just want to know if this will trailer and track OK. Thanks Steve

I had an over under kit installed by my dealer a couple years ago. I don't know if it was a Dexter or not. And I couldn't answer anything about installation. But I'm very happy with the result. No more worrying about my trailer bottoming out. You can see my experience here: kzfamilyforum.com/post/28201/thread

I have done lots of axle "flips", but I have always welded the spring seats on the axles. Never had any issues with tracking or alignment. They is to make sure the new spring seat is square with the original seat.

I’ve done one flip on a cargo trailer. I too welded on new spring seats. I left the original spring seats on as they’re not in the way. This way you can flip it back to the original position.
