Don't think it would be too nice or recommended in this weather! Northwest Ohio at 7:00 pm has a temp of minus 13 degrees! Calling for a low of minus 19-20. COLD!!! I did see in an RV magazine that a company is building winter camping units. Thoughts?

Hi Been thinking about our chilly KZ Rally friends in Illinois, NY, Michigan, and Ohio.....and of course our warm friends in the south. I might have cabin fever but tonight it really cold. We're in the southwest corner of NYS, Jamestown, NY, and are suffering the cold too. It is below zero now with lots of wind....suppose to be a windchill in the low -20's at least tonight and maybe tomorrow. The NYS ThruWay, route 90, is closed to all traffic between the PA line and Buffalo....blowing snow with blizzard conditions about 30 minutes north of us.....seems like the whole world is closed north of us...they could get 3 feet of snow added to the cold and wind. This storm is a bad one for a huge area. Winter camping? I think not!!! Keep Warm. Doug and Lamae

leaving thursday morning for a week at Bogue Chitto state park in Franklinton, louisiana. Low this morning was 20 degrees, but forecast for Thursday is low in mid 40's and high in mid 60's with highs in upper 60's for the following week. The little taste of winter we got the last couple of days here is enough to really appreciate living down here. I can't even imagine the temperatures you folks up north are enduring! Fortunately, we can usually camp at all times of the year down here. Granted it does get hot in the summer, but we usually go up into the mountains of Arkansas or North Carolina then to escape it. My wife loves to camp when it's cold enough to have our fireplace on and she can sit in front of it and quilt. She says the only thing that makes it better if rain falling on the roof! I'll admit she's a little eccentric in that regard. Anyway, I really feel for ya'll and I hope that we have an early spring so you can get out and about. Maybe even come down to Louisiana to check us out! Till then, keep warm and safe.
