So my girlfriend and I have decided to replaced the "Zero-G Ramp Door" by MORryde that opens makes into a patio deck on our DG 382MBQ. * Not my unit in the pic, exact same/like door equipped. We bought this rig used and did not expect everything to be 100%. We noticed a slight "flex" of the deck and it concerned me that it might be weathered (glue, wood, insulation). So I decided to take it apart before the summer heat began and it's a good thing I did. The thin support wood was rotted and very water soaked. Not sure how much use time was left. However, I am glad I took it apart to avoid any injuries that would occur if people were standing or sitting on the deck when it caved. Or came apart while traveling down the road. Now, the real issues, lol. PARTS! MORryde website states "The Zero-G Ramp Door is not currently available as an aftermarket product" Has anyone replaced Zero-G Ramp Door, and if so, did you buy the flooring as a one piece or with the frame as well? Is it possible to go to Home Depot or Lowes and DIY? The frame is in excellent shape. Product Code; MOR/Ryde INT Elkhart, IN Sales Order# 533172 Part# THP-D07-I1 Description; RAMP DOOR ASSM IVORY KZ (SHORT) Thanks in advance. Happy Memorial Weekend. Product Links; Zero-G Ramp Door

Have you tried calling MOR/Ryde? You don't want aftermarket, you are replacing an existing door. They may want to funnel your order thru a dealer. Also, do you have any pictures as to how the door is built?

I may be oversimplifying, but it doesn't look like anything special in there; luan plywood with some particle board. Biggest issue I could think of is getting material of the right thickness, as it could be possible MORryde has some items custom milled, but more likely is it's all standard dimension. It will be interesting to hear what MORryde has to say.

If MORyde does nothing for you I would look into getting it rebuilt with extra reinforcements welded in. You said frame was good and I take it it’s aluminum. The only thing is finding something for the outside wall that looks good and can be sealed properly. Aluminum sheeting comes to mind as it can be painted. Extra weight may be an issue but the door springs can be adjusted to compensate. I doubt the extra weight will affect towing that big of rig. This will not be a cheap fix at all.

I watched a video of a guy who repaired his. Was fairly inexpensive. I don’t have a shop but the rebuild doesn’t look too difficult. But I’m going to wait on MORryde before I commit to anything. Most reputable RV body shops can rebuild that door if you can’t find a replacement. They can replace damaged material and use the undamaged parts. But as was previously stated, this will be an expensive repair.
