My camper is currently in storage, can you tell me if my Sportsman Classic has an outside electric outlet? We are going to a seasonal site for the summer which includes electric, sewer and water. We’re accustomed to boondocking. Can the camper’s electric handle a toaster before it blows a fuse? Sorry about all the questions! C

Yah, your camper should handle a regular toaster. I assume you have a 30 amp hookup which will handle that fine. A/C, toaster and microwave at same time might be pushing it though. My 2011 Sportsman CLassic 19BH had an outside outlet just down to the left of the door. I assume most all will have an exterior outlet. If not, you can simply run an extension cord from the power panel on the campsite hookup.
I suggest always carrying a couple spare fuses of all sizes in your camper in case you do blow a fuse.

You should have an outlet protected by a 15 amp breaker, not a fuse. If the breaker trips, simply turn it off and back on again. Your toaster will draw much of that amperage so little else should be run on that outlet. It would be a good idea to carry an extension cord that is capable of carrying 15 amps, that way you may be able to plug into the pedestal and eliminate the electrical load on your camper. Campgrounds vary, some may not have a separate outlet, may have rules against using a cord and distance may be too great.
