We just purchased a new 2014 KZ Goldrush fifth wheel. We are brand new to RVing and can use all the help we can get. We have a 2013 Ford F250 diesel pickup to tow it with.

First off let me welcome you to the wonderful world of RVing. We too jumped off the deep end when we started RVing with a 39 ft. Montego Bay and are glad we started big. We traded our Montego Bay for a Stoneridge last year. There was never any problems with our first KZ and the only reason for the trade in was to upgrade our floor plan. We checked out the Goldrush at the Hershey show and liked it a lot. I am sure you will be happy with your new KZ and with the help of the good people on this forum, all your questions will get an answer. RV people enjoy helping others and the forum and has helped me out a lot when we first started camping. Enjoy your new Goldrush and don't forget that everyone here is ready to help you out.

Good day and congrats! Which Goldrush did you get, and what did you pay? I've been checking them out online and am intrigued, especially with the Nugget. Local dealer doesn't stock, nor have plans to stock, anything higher-end than Durango, so a road trip would be required. Rather than searching around for other dealers, I'm thinking of heading right to the source.

We purchased the Goldrush Nugget from our local dealer in southern Illinois. He ordered it for us after we had seen a sample of one. It took about 6 weeks to have it built and in stock. I would think that the price range of $45,000 would be a great negotiation point. Not sure where you are from but I definitely would recommend Larry's Trailer Sales if from Illinois or Youngblood RV if from Kentucky.

Thank you for your reply. We can't wait for spring here in southern Illinois so we can make our first trip.

Keep us updated on how you like it.

Steve and Cindy, Welcome! We don't have a Goldrush but saw one being made at the factory tour during our KZ Rally last October....nice unit.
On that note, please keep checking the KZ ON THE GO...KZ RALLY section of this Forum....towards the bottom of the list. There are plans for a rally in Michigan in July and another near Gatlinburg, TN in October....info. will be posted as plans are made. We had a great time at the first KZ owners rally last year and met some great fellow KZ owners.
Happy Camping.

Katie, The KZ Rally was a gathering of about 25 owners of various KZ trailers in Shipshewana, In. The Rally was organized by BRMike who frequents this site, and included a factory tour, a lunch and Q &A session with KZ management, several small side trips by attendees and meeting some new friends over a long weekend. Excellent time was had by all, and we got great support from the factory too. In some cases the factory techs came to the campground and made repairs on the spot. Several also stayed over and got warranty work done in the factory shop on Monday. there are loose plans for another Rally this coming spring - don't miss it.

Bluegrass, I been watching for info on the rallys but I am not seeing anything except for last fall's factory rally. Hearing a few thing through the grapevine, like in your response, but nothing formal. Am I missing something? If someone has a better time frame, especially for Michigan please advise as I trying to make reveseravations at some Michigan State Parks/campgrounds and it's already getting late to do that for certain weeks in July. Thanks

Hey Wi1dbi11, Good to hear from you and see you on the blog too....it is much more interesting when you can put a face and name together after meeting at the rally.
I too am anxious to get a date for July, we have another event we could attend in July but don't want to order tickets until we hear for sure about the KZ Rally.....right now the rally is taking preference.
