Thanks for the join. Relax... :-) I'm an ex-pat Kiwi (New Zealander for those who think I'm some type of fruit!!) married to an American. Currently been in Phoenix for9+ years, but wanting to get some land somewhere wetter (just not TOO cold - did my time with that in NZ!). Our problem is there's too many nice looking places to do this.
Soooo... enter the idea of fulltime RVing. I have yet to see the vast majority of the USA, and my wife has some definite places we MUST visit, so seem like a perfect match. Go land hunting, live there for a while but not put down permanent roots, and see the country. We have a 1 1/2 YO rough Collie (think Lassie) who will be joining us on the adventure, so the current rigs we're looking at are the Durango Gold models G358RPQ and G382MBQ. Pluses and minuses to both, but I'm leaning towards the bigger one for the bunkroom to turn into an office. The downdise is its length and, therefore, its ability to be parked in fewer places.

There are lots of places to see and visit.. after 60 years in MN, 10 years in Los Angeles, and 5 years in Las Vegas, I am very satisfied to be in the "Miami of South Dakota" (Rapid City). The 'colds' aren't too cold and don't last, the 'Hots' aren't anything like Vegas. Great Place and none of the three liberal coasts are too close. Your mileage may vary!

Hi and welcome to the forum. As been said, lots to see here. We are in Northern NV, yep we got some cold, but not to hot. Unfortunately to avoid the cold, you have to go West, but things get real pricy and the political climate doesn't suit all. Enjoy the hunt.
