I have a 2018 C214 RLK purchased new in late 2017. I have never done any maintenance to the Lippert rack and pinion mechanism. Reviewed several videos but not sure which to follow as some contradict each other. If any, what products are recommended and where/how are they applied. Thanks

Lippert techs have recommended using a dry lube product (what I have used), the Lippert site doesn't recommend using any lube, but I trust the techs and my own experience. The key is not to use anything that is sticky and attracts dirt. If you want more info check this out: Lippert Site

This was what I was given by the KZ tech at the rally a couple years ago. I carry a can in the RV and my truck.

I'm new to the site and to the KZ Connect family. I was wondering the exact same thing on the slide out maintenance. Are you just spraying the tracks or are you also accessing the pinion sets. Did you have to cut holes in the underbelly cover?

Just spraying it on the rails. I wouldn't cut holes in the underbelly wrap.

I crawled under the slider and with a wet rag wiped down the racks/rails and the round drive mechanism that moves the slider. (Sorry, I'm not mechanical.) Then I sprayed the drive and the racks/rails with 3 in 1 silicone spray, making sure that all of the metal was covered. The slider works fine.

I have only followed the manual and dry lubed the top of the rails
