Hi to all,
I'm new to this form, all forums actually, and I hope I'm not crossing any lines but I have a question.
I've just purchased a new to me 2011 Durango 1500 D275RL just in time to store it for the winter.
My question is regarding the Info Panel, the dealer demonstrated the usual water levels, water heater and pump functions but there's an additional switch labelled "Main Tank" & "Extra Tank" and they didn't now what function it preformed. I don't believe the trailer has 2 fresh water tanks, and as far as I know the propane tanks switch over automatically if both tanks are open.
Can anyone tell me what this mystery switch is for?
We're really looking forward to getting this unit out of storage next spring.

I know, I know! I have a 2012 Durango 325RL, but I'll bet our panels are similar. They make one main panel for numerous different trailers. Simply put, the switch is not needed. Just put it on Main Tank. You're right, there is only one tank. I was as confused as your were and asked KZ.

Thanks for the info, saves me from toggling it all summer to see if anything runs or blows up.

The mystery switch labeled Main Tank & Extra Tank refers to the TWO gray water tanks your rig has. Generally the kitchen is the Extra Tank and the bathroom is Main Tank. You should have two separate gray water drain handles (one for each tank). Hope this helps.

The two tanks are both gray water (in my 2017 381 REF). The kitchen is on one tank and the bath is on another. You should also have two grey water dump valves.
