I plan to order a new Venom 4114. Can I pick it up at the factory? I live in Utah, can I place my order with a dealer close to the factory?

I don't think any of the mass production RV are available for factory delivery. Biggest issue with factory pick up is you can't take possession until you pay for it and actually become the owner. The factory isn't set up for that, another issue is who does the licensing? The factory isn't a licensed RV dealer, they don't have temp license tags, the transport companies provide that. Now if your dealer is willing, and its a cash deal, they get the manufacturer's certificate of origin, do the sales paperwork- which requires you to pay for something you haven't seen & send you to the factory to pick it up...if the factory is willing to deal with you rather than a transport company. So lots of issues. When I worked for an RV dealer I was able to do a factory pick up, but I had to pay up front so I had temp registration and it still required the dealership owner to "arrange" it, so it wasn't all that simple or easy. Despite all that, I have heard that one of premium Diesel pusher manufacturers does offer factory pick up, but they charge you a lot for the privilege because they have to do the actual delivery (paperwork to make it yours) PDI and walk thru. so, for enough money, pretty much anything is possible.
With all that being said, you can buy an RV anywhere, (I bought mine in Salt Lake city, I live in NV) but I don't know if a dealer will order one from someone out of state, it's up to them and if they want to take a chance on you not following thru and actually taking delivery. Now for more bad news and I am going to be really blunt here: You will also have a hard time getting warranty work from a local dealer if you didn't buy it there. Warranty repairs are a loser, so why waste valuable shop time for a non customer? Sorry, but that's how things have evolved, not anywhere enough RV techs.

What nvguy said, I bought in AZ from a WA dealer, signed papers in CA (tax thing) and live in NM. I had issues getting warranty work until I found a small KZ dealer service manager in TX that did some minor work until the boss found out. Because I bought a Gold KZ did authorized a mobile repair.
