Over the Air channels in the bedroom TV

I just installed a small TV in the bedroom - connected it to the coax box and expected to be able to scan for "over the air" channels. I did that and I am not getting anything. Strange since the TV in the living area is picking up a dozen or so.
What am I missing? Is there a switch somewhere? Do I need to remove the coax cover plate to ensure that the antenna is connected there?

what nvguy said, I found multi splitters in the bedroom ceiling. I had to remove the ceiling plates, two in mine and gently pull the coax. This tools about $25 at the big box stores, coax tester, it was a great help determining what went where.
