Has anyone had an issue with odor coming into the unit ?? I had the valve replaced under the bathroom sink but that didn't solve the problem.. It gets worse when the tank is 3/4 full only ..

Look for broken plumbing under the shower. It might help if we knew what model unit you have.

You could also replace the air admittance valve (AKA vacuum breaker) with higher quality Studor Mini-Vent from Lowes. I replaced both of mine based on recommendation from a lady at Lowes who was also an RV-er (she also experienced the tank smell in her camper). The Studor valves are about $25 compared to the $5 plain black ones, and so far I have not had a recurrence of the smelly tank gasses in the RV.
This would be an easy attempt before you dive in to the shower plumbing as lynnmor suggests. It's like chicken soup - it can't hurt.
