My wife and I are “Seniors” and purchased a KZ170MB last summer. We are not new to camping as we started in tents way back around 1970. We started out in tents, moved up to a small tent trailer which was followed by a bigger fold down with the arrival of our first child. With the arrival of our second child we went to a travel trailer, a 1978 19’ Prowler. We towed the Prowler to various NY State Parks in central NY until we decided to put the trailer on a permanent site in NE Pennsylvania. As the kids got older the Prowler was replaced by a Layton BH. That trailer was later moved to a site in a RV Park on Lake Ontario. It was later replaced with a Jayco 31RKS and it serves as our summer ‘home base’. We decided we wanted to visit NY State Parks in the Finger Lakes and Thousand Island regions. The 170MB fits the bill nicely. With the Murphy bed we get a couch in the unit to relax on during the day and the design of the KZ Murphy bed was the best we saw. The weight of the unit makes towing with our SUV easy. The only drawback we have found is that our KZ has the “Off Road” package which cuts down the already small cargo weight that you can load in the unit.
