We were awakened by our alarm at 430 this morning...Strong smell of gas throughout 5th wheel...
Open door and all four outside doors to vent....Shut tanks off and waited till gas disbursed...Starting checking for leaks and finally found it...After tearing closet apart to get to furnace found copper gas line had been rubbing on aluminum frame under shower...Which in essance cause a line puncture from movement's and vibrations...Not very happy with the way this line was put in unsupported...one insulated clamp screwed to frame support would of prevented this....Darn good thing furnace didn't run...It's also a good thing I know how to trouble shoot and repair...Caution to ALL KZ Halftons....If you can get to your furnace. CHECK the line to make sure it's clear of the frame.. .Very tight clearence issue....Like ours. 281RLT ...You have to take the bottom of the closet apart to get to it...However...Ours it no longer a closet but a kitchen storage..pantry...Safe Travels to ALL...
