I bought my 1st TT Nov 26, 2023.. 2022 260BHSE still in drive way as I learn to use it. I have used MOTHERS GOLD car wash for years and on my vehicles they come out spotless, it removes tar, bug juice, and other dirty items, I can not get the WATERFALL TYPE BLACK STREAKS that run down the exterior walls all the way around. I was told on FACEBOOK that it was a sign of failing caulking and a waterproof seal issue. I would like to know any thoughts about the cause.. it is a brand new trailer. 2nd ? is there any reasonable way to clen these streaks of and keep them off. THANKS giddy up go

I am sorry to say that aluminum sided trailers are next to impossible to keep clean. It would really be to your benefit to keep it under roof, not only for a cleaner appearance but to preserve many things. Anyway, I like Reliable Products to wash my trailer. You can mix it to the strength you need to remove the black streaks, just be careful that you don't damage the finish. Keeping the roof clean will go a long way to reduce the black running down the sides. There are black streak remover products made especially for the purpose, but I find that some are OK and some are of little value. I wouldn't use wax products till you get it very clean, any wax that you already put on should be stripped to get down to the dirt, then you can wax it. I like NuFinish but the new ceramic products might be better. As you can see, I am trying one last time to be civil.

Gel Gloss will do the trick: www.amazon.com/Original-Kitchen-Polish-Protector-Aerosol/dp/B00NQBWN0A Also available at most home supply stores-HD, Lowes, Menards. Available in spray or liquid. I have used liquid, squirt a bit on a rag, then erase the black streaks, the gel gloss will provide a slick surface and somewhat prevent streaks from coming back. It also works well in the shower & solid surface counter tops / sinks as it reduces water spotting. As usual, FB is full of Cr@$ the black streaks are dirt, roof material sloughing off (normal) and very common an aluminum sided trailer.

I have used wheel cleaner on some of my bad streaks. Just get the one that says safe for all wheels. Never tried it but the Mr Clean magic eraser may also work.
