How many people would be interested in doing a north east rally. Our previous camper brand did them and they are a lot of fun

We might be interested. From VA, but a trip north could be fun. We just finished a New England trip leaf peeping.

This thread is NOT the Annual International KZ/Venture rally.
Info on that will be coming soon.
Be leary of anyone offering things who only have 1 post

Be leary of anyone offering things who only have 1 post I’m not trying to scam anyone here. I’d just like to see a rally happen in the northeast area That’s all. And hopefully someone in that group that dose the rally planning would see if there was a lot of interest in having one in that area. |

We would love to see regional rallies and would support and help promote them. The problem is finding people to organize and run them who are dedicated enough to see it through to the end. It is like having a full time job, I have a whole crew helping me because I can't do it all myself. So far there has been little to no interest. If you would like to take on that responsibility let me know and we can get you started. If you are just looking for a weekend camping get together with a couple other kzer's, then post it as such but I would do it on a different board and leave the rally board just for rally info. Like I stated before if you want to organize a regional rally I would be more than willing to help you get started. |

I agree 100% I did a state convention in WA years ago as part of my job at the time. I had two helpers and my wife, took months with location, food, vendors, speakers, entertainment, lodging (not and RV rally) and other things I don't recall. It was not fun and I was paid to put this one not a volunteer. jetson does an amazing job, I have attended two in the past. |

I've been to many rallies of other brands of RVs. Some have over 30 a year not including the Anti-Rallies that aren't sponsored by the manufacturer. When a new wagon master is starting out it is often for a smaller rally (50 to 75 units) so they can get their feet wet. The experienced wagon masters are usually willing to send checklist and take emails/phone calls to help you get started. You will also find it's not hard to find 2 or 3 others willing to handle the smaller tasking to free you up from for the larger ones. Good Luck! |

No one is discouraging, just know it's not an easy job, ask any wagon master.
