Does anyone use battery blankets? I have noticed a decrease in my volts in the batteries when the temperature has dropped below 35deg. Does anyone also notice the same thing and do you use a battery blanket? Thanks for info in advance!

Nothing about what make or model you are talking about. Starter battery or house battery. Motorhome or travel trailer. How old is the battery?
Normal for battery voltage to be lower in cold weather.

What would you use to power the battery blanket? If you have shore power there is no concern about battery voltage dropping.

Sorry about that! 2021 KZ Durango Gold 382MDQ. These are the two trailer batteries. Brand New Batteries! I was at 13.6 when connected to shore power now I am 13.0 Thanks for the help!

You may see as much as 14.5 volts initial charge when you first plug in.
If you disconnected shore power, remember, there are things in the trailer constantly drawing power. CO/Propane detector may still be on even with the disconnect off. 13 volts while sitting is not anything to worry about. A normal fully charged battery will read somewhere around 12.6-13.2 volts with no load depending on the temp. If you are running anything without shore power, the battery will discharge. Plug the shore line back in.
Don't overthink the issue.
You can buy a Deltran Battery tender to keep the batteries charged without shore power connected.

Even when connected to Shore power 13 is ok?

[/div]
Even when connected to Shore power 13 is ok?
No, it should be about 13.6 after it was plugged in for awhile. There will be a small amount of variation caused by temperature and resistance in wiring but the converter will output more than 13 if working correctly.

I think I might have a bad converter.

I woke up this am and now I am 13.4 to 13.6 so I am also thinking that I have a bad converter. Thanks all for the advise!
