Good morning, everyone I have a question for the group. I am interested in a 2023 KX D326RLT which has a dry hitch weight of 1830 Lbs.
My truck has a capacity of 1990 Lbs. My truck is a 2015 Ram 2500 Mega cab with 6.7 cummings and all stock.
I am thinking of upgrading to HD Coil Springs and HD Shocks and also Add airbags if needed.
Does this seem doable, and if anyone has a similar experience please share. I know the D290RLT has a lighter hitch weight, but we like the D326RLT better.
PS I currently have a 2015 Jayco Eagle 339FLQS with a dry hitch weight of 2485 Lbs. I know its overweight but has handled great.
So by going 645Lbs lighter (dry hitch weight) and the added suspension ungraded, I should be good?
Thanks In advance
Mickey

As you already know, the truck will be overloaded when ready for travel. You can do some enhancements to help it carry the weight but nobody will give you their blessing. You are well into 3500 territory. Perhaps if you removed the cummings engine and replaced it with a Cummins things would improve.
