We just bought this camper this summer. Getting it ready for winter in Michigan. I pulled the deep cycle battery and brought that inside the house. I went to look things over one final time and see the Solar Charge Controller is lit up. Anyway to shut it off or just leave it for the winter as is? Thanks,,, Attachments:

Thanks,,, As long as the panels are exposed to the sun, they'll produce power. Only thing you can do is to cover them to prevent this. Our local FDs had to learn to deal with all the solar stuff down here in AZ a number of years ago. They're fighting a fire during the daytime and they can shut off the main breaker to kill the grid, but you've got 5k-10k of solar still producing power and you'll still get sparking, shorts, etc., as well as associated injuries to personnel. FDs aren't real fans of solar when they have to fight a fire in daytime. Lyle
