Can this shackle be replaced without replacement of entire spring?

I just replaced all my shackles and bushings with a kit from etrailer #MR76ZR. It will give you peace of mind with wet bolts and thicker shackles.

This is why I an a few others went to the MorRyde equipment, heavier Shackles, brass bushing in the wet bolt kit an the X factor cross bracing ... There was at lease four to five different owners who changed out the suspension from LCI to MorRyde in less than 5K because of what I call plastic bushing in the spring hangers ... Safe Travels

If you have a shackle link worn to that point, you need to inspect the entire suspension. I am one of those who replaced my suspension in less than 5K, and it just wasn't worn plastic bushings, the brass bushings in the LCI equalizers were worn out as well, as they didn't install wet bolts, so no way to lube the bushings.

My wet bolt kit should be here Friday.... It'll be fun to see how things look when I get 'em apart... :-)

Yep I'll bet that is exactly what he finds, a weak point from the day it left the factory.
