Generally I refrain from stupid questions but not this time. Just got a 2022 256RKT and the outdoor griddle sliding tracks are tilted down on the back wall. While this makes the griddle stow quite easy, it makes it hard to cook on since the griddle always slides back in. (Note: I have not used the griddle and wouldn't without ensuring it stayed out until cool.) Now, I am assuming the mfg just put the tracks in wrong. Has anyone else had this issue?

I haven't had the issue, but based on what I know about the RV industry, my guess is you are right- the tracks are not level, but really, they should be locking tracks, in both positions- stowed and in use. For a quick and dirty fix, try putting a couple of spring loaded glue clamps or vice grips on the track to hold it in place for use.

I have the Suburban griddle on my Connect. On the left side of mine there is a pin to hold the griddle frame in place during during storage, and during cooking. The pinhole on frame that you use while cooking is a little hard to see.

Hmmm, I have a 2022 D256RKT and have used the outside griddle 5-6 times. The griddle top is fairly level (based on how oil rolls to one side) when using it, but it's not perfectly level (could be the griddle, the slide mount or the trailer itself I suppose). I haven't noticed any obvious tilting to the slide mechanism and it stays in place when stowed or when in use (and the gas hose hanging down would prevent it from sliding back in anyway. I wish there was a better way to hook the hose up, it's in an awkward spot). There is no lock or unlock on the slide which would be nice.

Thanks for the responses. I ended up moving the drawer tracks up higher on the back wall 2 inches. Now it's as level as a warped griddle can be. Yes, hate how you have to connect it. I see a mod coming. The only plus to how it connects is the griddle can't "store" when in use (maybe if the trailer is a rockin').
