After trying various methods to clean the top of the slide out before bringing it in, I gave this one a go and it works great. I had to purchase the 24” mop head (Menards - $9.99 less 11% woohoo) and got the extension pole with an attached scrub brush at a rummage for a buck. The bristles were sawed off the scrub brush, fastened to a piece of flooring, and hinged to the metal piece (4x4 galvanized post anchor). A plywood insert goes into the mop head, and a chunk of wood connects it to the metal piece – all parts I had lying around. Now the slide out top can be cleaned while standing on the ground. A fun little project!

A few pieces of PVC and elbows and you can do away with the ladder. :-) Lyle Thanks but the latter lives on the back rack, I leave it home and there will be a reason I need it. Most of the time it's washing windows, yep I do windows.
