I have a 2021 Connect that after a trip I noticed the inside tread of the rear tires were worn down to almost bald. I immediately made an appointment for service at the dealership we bought it at and found out that somehow after less than 2 years of ownership the rig needs all new leaf springs, new tires and according to the service tech new axles. So the service department contacted KZ to get the approvals. The supposed 2 year “bumper to hitch” warranty is still valid and yet KZ refused to honor that warranty. They instead passed the buck onto Lippert, who is replacing the leaf springs but doesn’t want to cover the axles or tires. So now if only the leaf springs are fixed, we most likely will have the same problem again. I find it unbelievable that KZ would market this wonderful warranty and yet not honor that warranty when something big goes wrong. They did however replace my dinette table and sink cover when they both delaminated because they’re made of cheap crappy material, so I guess that’s something to applaud. 😏 We bought this trailer because our first KZ trailer was great. This one however, not so much. I’m very disappointed in KZ for not standing by their product and making it right. Next trailer I seriously doubt will be a KZ.

The 2 year bumper to hitch warranty does say “limited”. Lippert does make most of the RV axles in the industry and generally have a different warranty than the manufacturers do. As with all warranties getting them to cover things is a hassle and takes time and patience.

As with all warranties getting them to cover things is a hassle and takes time and patience. I agree, Lippert is the warranty company for the axles. At the same time KZ decided to use Lippert axles. I think they should back their customers in any warranty dispute with Lippert instead of just washing their hands of the situation. If worse comes to worse, KZ should make good on the warranty if Lippert does or not. They have supplied the overall warranty and it's their name on the line. Then again, I suspect KZ isn't any different than any of the other manufactures that want to cut their warranty costs as much as possible. You would think that since KZ use Lippert axles on all of their trailers they would have some pull in this area.

I'm no expert but it sounds like you may have overloaded, have you ever weighed it? Flat springs & bent axles are typical over load issues. I think the warranty does exclude tires as there is no way they can tell if you hit curbs or some other hazard. Tire manufacture may be of help if it's a tire defect. Most of the "parts" are covered by the manufacture, Dometic, Suburban, Lippert, etc. KZ does the warranty on what they build, the box and cover the other after the factory warranty runs out. I had a fridge issue and called Dometic, I was sent a kit that rerouted the defrost water outside. It quit and I called KZ and KZ sent a repairman to me. (My RV is a Gold and mobiles only golds) BUT you maybe able to take it to and authorized repair facility lie the dreaded Camping World, there are others you would need to do some research.
